We are Jean and John Richardson and live at The Firs with our many animals and various children from time to time - they keep coming back!  Over five years we have brought back to life a very neglected Farmhouse and gardens.  The house we believe dates back to around 1520 and would have been a jettied timbered property.  During the Georgian era many changes took place and it remains very much as it did then. If you are interested in historic properties we would be happy to tell you about our much loved house.  Oh don't worry we're not standing outside The Firs Farmhouse it is the school house in the garden which was used in the Victorian era for the Governess to educate the children of the family.
